Shh Nobody Watches the 'b sides!!

This week I would like to share with you some of my images that i've taken this year since joining the www.shhnobodyswatching.com group.  These are the images that didn't make the final cut so i'm calling them the 'b' side images, even though i'm still happy I took them.  Every week is a challenge to come up with a  Shh worthy image, but its a challenge that I really enjoy and as time goes on I feel it has had a positive effect on my creativity and pushing my boundaries when shooting images.  Lastly the best thing about being part of Shh is the special friendships and support we have for one another during the ups and downs.

Hill End Charm

During the school holidays recently we drove west out of Sydney to a beautiful little village near Mudgee called Hill End.  This stunning little place was once part of a booming gold mining town with a popuation of approx 30 thousand people,  but as the gold ran out so did the occupants. There is now one pub 'the royal hotel', post office, general store and a school with 5 students.  Its a bit like going back in time with things still the same as they were back in the 1800's.
I went a bit crazy with all the beauty and country goodness so will have to post some more photographs  in a few weeks, today enjoy some of the magic that is Hill End and a little Mudgee.
