Holidays thus far...

After a very wet start to the break on the weekend, the sun is out and so are we.  The kids were busting to get out of the house so we all went for a long walk down at the beach and up onto the headland which has amazing views of our beautiful beaches, we are so lucky to live so close to the sea, when we get home you feel so at peace and renewed energy which is always great when its school holidays, I hope you enjoy these.

A Lovely Story

As most of you know I have recently been participating in an online photography retreat with the wonderful Angie Baxter.  One of the final projects set by Angie was to create a story with images and with themes that can be interpreted by the viewer.
So for my story I was so lucky to have two amazing people who I have known my whole life allow me to photograph them, and their love and devotion became my story.  They are my aunty and uncle, having been married for almost 55years their love for one another has always remained as strong as the day they met.  I hope to share some more of their photographs soon, but for now heres just one that i feel says it all.

Spring has finally arrived.

Well folks it feels as though spring is here at last, and I am so excited to think of all the yummy sunshine photos I will be taking in the coming months.  Daylight savings will be starting soon too in NSW, this means really early sunrise but also beautiful long afternoons of golden sunshine.

I took the kids to the beach the other day after school to have a play and we weren't disappointed, sunshine always makes you feel good.

Have a lovely week

Red, Transport and City Life...

Back in July I spent a day in the city with a photographer friend taking photos for a brief given by the Syd Morn Herald.  The challenge was to capture in your own way, shape or form Red, Transport and  city Life.  It was an interesting day, its amazing what you see when you really look for something.  So just thought i'd share some of what I saw with you, hope you enjoy.
